Fernando S. Aran, M.D.

 

Dr. Fernando S. Aran is a Board Certified Orthopedic Lower Extremity Surgeon specializing from the hip to the foot.

He received his Orthopedic Surgery training at Wake Forest Baptist Health Center in Winston Salem, NC. After residency, he attended Duke University for his Foot and Ankle Fellowship in Durham, NC. There, he learned how to manage complex foot and ankle pathologies from some of the best in the field.

 Dr. Aran’s primary focus is the lower extremity. He provides fracture care of the entire lower extremity, joint replacement, reconstructive work including but not limited to bunions, Haglund’s Deformity, flatfoot corrections and Charcot arthropathy. He enjoys the challenge of a difficult case and the satisfaction of a great patient outcome.
