Charleen Stennett, OTR/L, CHT

 

Charleen Stennett is the director of the hand and upper extremity rehabilitation department at the Miami Hand and Upper Extremity Institute. She is an occupational therapist and a certified hand therapist.

Charleen received her bachelor of science from Florida International University in December 1994 and became a certified hand therapist in November 2003. She has worked with Dr. Jorge Orbay since 1996.

Charleen has conducted lectures, facilitated clinical fieldwork instruction and hosting of visiting therapists. She also served honorably in the United States Army Reserves for 21 years.

Charleen enjoys the creativity and critical thinking it takes to handle and manage the wide spectrum of patients that are seen at this facility. It is this constant challenge that offers her daily growth. Charleen treasures creative splinting, wound care and seeing the results her guidance yields. Her steadfast goal is to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
